Description: The Art of Modern Cooking and Better Meals Cookbook has been compiled for the rank and file of women whose ambition is to win the title "perfect hostess." In it will be found recipes to meet the family food needs whether the family lives in a city, in a village, or on a farm. Most of the recipes are adapted to everyday use, a few, it will be noted, are suitable for the most special occasions.
The recipes have been drawn from a couple of sources. A large part are from the 1936 edition of this cookbook, but revised. A good many are from the Food Departments of Home Economics Women in Business.
