Description: From the Stephenson's Restaurants Receipts introduction page: For many years guests have asked us to share some of our favorite recipes. Some are heirlooms which have changed little during the passing years. Others have been developed and altered as we have grown. At long last, we have gathered this collection of favorites to share with our friends and guests. We hope you will enjoy serving them in your home as much as we have enjoyed serving them to you in our restaurant and at our special parties.

Our recipes for hickory smoked meats is not included because being done in our huge smoke ovens, we can't really duplicate the method for you on a small scale. But you will find the recipe for our barbecue sauce which we use in preparing our smoked meats.

It has always been our goal to serve the finest food and give the finest service. In true farm style we use plenty of fresh butter and cream, fresh fruits and vegetables. And our portions are generous. We really follow our recipes exactly, measuring exactly and baking exactly as directed. For best results, we hope that you will, too.
