Additional Details
Description: This cookbook contains a compilation of recipes from famous chefs from famous restaurants, and from the Stagecoach Inn on 702 Manitou Avenue on U.S. 24, just five miles west of Colorado Springs. The Inn was an old stagecoach stop when this area was bustling with gold miners and pioneers settling the west.
It is at the foot of Pikes Peak and gateway to historic Ute Pass, surrounded by the effervescent mineral springs famous since Indian days.
Stagecoach Inn is open only in the summer months and is famous for its fine food and hospitality. The Gift Shop in the annex was once the summer home of Helen Hunt Jackson, author of the famous novel, "Ramona."
