Description: According to the New York World's Fair of 1964 Guide, The Five Volcanoes Restaurant symbolized the volcanic origin of the Hawaiian Islands. It had an indoor dining room, a Lava Pit Bar and an outdoor area seating 500, where there were daily buffet luncheons. Nightly, a three-hour, 12-course luau is held outdoors, complete with traditional dishes, rituals and dances. This cookbook shares the restaurant's Hawaiian and island-inspired recipes and menus.
