Created by request for those who expect recipes that are dependable, multiple tested, and of exceptional quality, this book offers more of the traditional best and family favorites of our Quad City cooks. The Quad Cities, a cluster of communities nestled along the Mississippi River's east/west stretch in Iowa and Illinois, is home to the Quad City Symphony Orchestra. 

Just as the recipes in this book allow the reader to sample Midwest cooking traditions, the section divider pages offer glimpses of the musical events shaping the lifestyle of our community. On the reverse of each divider page is an illustration and short description of a project supported by the Junior Board. In the concert hall, a performer must prove himself or herself worthy before being offered a return engagement.
