Description: For years Paul Newman and his friend A.E. Hotchner filled old wine bottles with their homemade salad dressing to give to friends as Christmas gifts. Then it dawned on them that what was good enough for their pals was good enough for the public, so they formed Newman's Own to sell the dressing. The venture was a huge success and a whole range of Newman's Own products is now sold around the world, with a large percentage of proceeds going to the Hole in the Wall Gang Fund, which helps children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. 

In that same spirit, Newman, Hotchner, their families and friends now share more than 125 of their favourite recipes in this book. From simple to sophisticated, the dishes are imaginative and delicious. While some use Newman's Own products, you can substitute your favourite brand of dressing, or pasta sauce, for example, without any problem. Some dishes, such as the Newmanburger, are Newman household favourites; others are contributions from friends, such as Robert Redford's Lamb Chilli with Black Beans or Julia Roberts's Fresh Peach Crisp.
