Description: Ethnic cookery is becoming quite the vogue. Poulsbo, the "Little Norway" of the West, has become widely known for its fine Norwegian foods. The ladies (and a few men) willingly share their secrets in this Kokebok III.
The Kokebok made its appearance in 1966. It has gone through five editions. Volume II was printed in 1974 and went through many editions. This new edition has retained some of the tried and true recipes from the earlier volumes, but there are many new recipes in this latest edition.
The Grieg Hall stands today, a proud monument to the vision, foresight, courage, resourcefulness, and sacrifices, of the members of the lodge and the Ladies Club. The building maintains Norwegian decor throughout. The reputation of Poulsbo Lodge No. 44's Grieg Hall has spread. People come from as far away as Norway, New York, and California to see it. It has become a tourist attraction.
