Description: A third generation chef, Martin grew up in the business. In his hometown in southern Minnesota, he also grew up cooking exotic game meats like duck, antelope, moose, elk and chuckar, among others.
In 1993, Kirt graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Paris Cooking School in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. In 1995, he returned to Idaho and bought the Snake River Grill restaurant in what he affectionately calls " God's country" -- the Hagerman Valley, Idaho. Chef Martin is well known for his widely popular wild game dinners ... all prepared in a classic french style.
Now you can try simple and elegant recipes at home. If you don't have a hunter in the family, don't worry, all the recipes can be adapted to domestic meats available at your local grocery store.
Take your taste to the wild side with Chef Kirt Martin of the Snake River Grill.
