Description: Nearly a decade has passed since the Junior League of Honolulu first published A Taste of Aloha with its distinctive cover by noted Island artist Pegge Hopper. Many of the recipes from that first cookbook are classics. Some took a great deal of time and effort to prepare. Others relied on rich quantities of butter, cream and eggs. While the League still enjoys those dishes, it finds themselves trying to do more with less less time. less cholesterol, less fat. Another Taste of Aloha cookbook reflects this shift. This is a companion or sequel to the first volume by this League.
