Description: Holland is a small community rich in traditions inherited from its earliest settlers, the Dutch. This, the second edition of Eet Smakelijk cookbook, represents a blend of early Dutch and modern American cuisine. Eet Smakelijk (the Dutch phrase meaning to eat well and with taste) is a uniquely successful cookbook which has traveled to the four corners of the world, and has earned the distinction of being the official cookbook of Holland, Michigan. In preparation for this second edition, the community participated in a recipe hunt and bake off. The first and second place winners' recipes are featured along with other exceptional entries. The cookbook contains over 1,000 treasured recipes ranging from the very simple to the true "haute cuisine."
