Description: This is a combination cookbook and guidebook for the Jewish homemaker. This dramatic version was originally presented by Mrs. Althea O. Silverman of Hartford in 1932, with Table Exhibits that appeared in  the Women's League Outlook in 1933. The narrative version of The Jewish Home Beautiful prepared by Mrs. Betty D. Greenberg was presented at the National Convention of the Women's League at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Atlantic City in May 1940. Most of the photos of the tables in this book were taken at that time. Over 100 Jewish recipes are included and mapped against the various Jewish holidays and festivals.

Condition: Excellent condition with minor shelf wear to the cloth cover corner tips. There is an ink inscription in the inside blank page from the Sisterhood of Cong Beth Shalom in New Jersey.
