Much has been written about Hawaii and probably much more will be written about these fascinating islands, but one things seems to have been neglected: a cookbook about Hawaiian cooking. In this little book, 'Hawaiian Cuisine' the long delayed gap has been filled, and the book is a rather well written gallimaufry of island cookery, containing a wide variety of recipes and packing a surprising amount of information in its less than 100 pages, an achievement (when you see the book) you would never think possible.

Luaus are so far in these days that they will probably be out before too long. We've had our first call of the season and expect many more as graduation and patio parties come full-blown. Our first suggestion is to look into a new book, 'Hawaiian Cuisine'.

If you are a cook and enjoy wonderful and new treats, here is a little cookbook that is not expensive but will be a favorite with you for a long time. It gives explicit directions for some of the best types of recipes in the world.
