Description: The Albany Township Historical Society participated in the Kutztown Folk Festival in Kutztown, Pennsylvania in 2005. From there, they were asked questions by visitors of the festival about the recipes, and that in turn prompted the creation of this cookbook.
There are over 100 recipes included in the book, some of what you will find are examples of classic dishes made daily down on the farm. Other recipes are more contemporary, adapted by modern cooks using ingredients traditionally associated with Pennsylvania Dutch cookery.
