Many of the recipes have traveled with the contributors during moves across the United States or the world; or have been family secrets, cherished through generations; or are old true Florida recipes handed down from the early Florida pioneers. All were generously given to the Guild cookbook committee to be included in the cookbook.
The menu and entertaining section reflects the seasons of the Suncoast from spring luncheons at poolside, to summer alfresco dining, to a winter cocktail party Suncoast Seasons style.
The special From Suncoast Restaurants section will surely delight the most discriminating gourmet. And, the eminent personalities who have graciously submitted their recipes for the From the Famous section have shared their favorites.
