Description: Amish Country Cooking is a collection of over 600 favorite recipes of the Amish in the West Kootenai, near Rexford, Montana. A number of the people that submitted recipes don't live there anymore, but all of the recipes came from one-time or current residents.
Most of these recipes have been used numerous times on wood-fired cookstoves, but there is no reason why they can't work equally well on more modern conveniences.
