These is a family favorite holiday and gathering mock vegetarian chopped liver recipe. It tastes remarkably like the real thing.

Recipe Instructions:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ground pecans 
  • 1 can (8oz.) petite point peas (Petit peas) 
  • 1 medium onion chopped 
  • 3 hard boiled eggs 
  • 1 Tablespoon oil 
  • 1 Tablespoon margarine 
  • 1 Tablespoon water 
  • Salt 
  • Pepper

Preparation:

  • Saute onion in oil and margarine until pale and translucent 
  • Drain peas 
  • Process with egg 
  • Add onions, salt and pepper to taste, plus water 
  • Process well 
  • Add to nuts and mix well
