Additional Details

Description: The Swedish Recipes Old and New cookbook is a collection of dishes used in homes in America. Published for the first time in 1955, this cook book contains recipes that were contributed by members of the American Daughters of Sweden and their friends. Some of them were brought from Sweden many years ago by those who gave the recipes to this book, others have been handed down from a Swedish mother to an American daughter and are now used by the second and third generations. Several recipes have been brought back from Sweden after visits there from members and some came in letters from relatives and friends. It is to share these treasured recipes with others and to preserve them for the future that this collection was made. The recipes are all in American measurements.
